The 2012 debut collection is inspired by the exhibition ‘Geometry of Lights’ by Alyson Shotz. Shotz’s work
illustrates how light would probably look like if we stopped time.
The collection captures
the moment between twilight and dusk that lights up the entire sky in purple. The moment passes
instantly but the memory of a horizon bathed in purple light lingers long after.
Signifying the end of a previous life and the anticipation of a new beginning in her journey as a
designer, the collection uses the colours of a purple dusk to paint the picture of light when time stops.
